Who are TalkMagic?

Each of us can talk, but not everyone can truly listen. TalkMagic was born out of friendship and the magic of honest conversation.

Both professional magicians, we met through our love of magic, but were truly brought together when sharing our personal struggles and vulnerabilities.

After many years of friendship, TalkMagic became the natural product of this relationship.

Having performed magic at every kind of event the world has to offer, and consistently asked by CEO’s and team leaders to come in and teach the wide variety of skills we had acquired, we soon realised that what they were seeking were the kinds of discussions we spent most of our waking hours having.

Before long our first workshop “Think Like a Magician” was born.

A bit about Neb from Fergus

Previously a professional musician and songwriter, Neb was drawn to magic in 2011 when a move from Scotland to London led to his hobby becoming his career.

He has since has entertained at over 2000 events, regularly booked by companies such as Google, and Apple, and for clients such as Sir Ben Kingsley, Sir Paul McCartney and many more.

Neb has never really been interested in becoming famous or getting on television. His passion is for performing magic to smaller groups and really delivering something special for all those who cross his path. He enjoys the connection that being a professional entertainer brings and all of the people he gets to meet doing so.

Neb also volunteers as a listener at Samaritans, helping people talk about their own personal struggles and believes that being listened to is a fundamental right everyone should have access to.

A bit about Fergus from Neb

Fergus is a BAFTA award-winning magician who has performed for corporate companies on 6 of the worlds 7 continents. In 2022 he was awarded The Virtual Magician Of The Year by The Magic Circle.

Fergus dedicated his early life to sports and worked as a tennis coach until he finished his degree in Sociology at The University Of Nottingham. After finishing his studies, he moved to London and began a career as a magician on children’s BBC.

Fergus’ passion for physical fitness and mental health are at the forefront of his coping strategies to deal with his own anxiety disorder which he has struggled with since the age of ten.
